I’m hoping that it will not come to civil war. But I agree that we should prepare for anything that comes our way. I will be canning beans within the next week. This is the best harvest that I have had in four years. I’m still picking every day and we are eating fresh steamed beans as well as canning them. Not having enough vegetables to last us through the winter was my one big hole in the pantry challenge this last January and I’m trying to rectify that. Thank you for your inspiration. Take care.

I’m with you all the way, Leisa! Stacking it to the rafters, again. I’ve been doing that for the last 4 or 5 years, and reached a point where I thought I could stop and breathe for a bit, but nope! My freezers are full, so it’s time to can what I am able to, and fill them once again. ❤

Finishing this up today. Ordered a prescription on Tuesday. I am set up on texts and email for when they are ready or a problem. I must have gotten bounced into the Crowdstrike problem since never heard back. This morning I checked on Walgreen's web site and it said they were unable to fill my script - please call. Phoned and without stating what happened they ordered my script. 30 days worth gotten with 2 hours. Other 60 days refill will be completed once ordered. So...that just happened.

I don’t feel he was calling for civil war. This country has been on the verge of civil war for a while, this election just might put the country over the edge. I feel he was trying to “prepare” us for what maybe coming. Prep up people.

Restocked quite a bit in June. Even for expiration items good through December. Other stuff through 2026 at least. This morning took advantage of sale on shrimp and chuck roasts. Definitely a lot of discourse out there.

My husband has been gone 7 years and he has said that this was going to happen some 10 years ago. Dont take this wrong he did not want it, he could just see through the lines. Its a scary time.

Mr. Roger's where are you and where is your neighborhood?! Fred Rogers once said "Look for the helpers. You will always find people that are helping". I know it's getting harder and harder to find, but there are good people out there during crazy times like this.

Leisa -- when you talk about being prepared, how prepared are you meaning? Do I need to have 3 months of toilet paper stocked up or two months of food as in complete meals?? This is the part that gets to be a little confusing it's one thing to build a pantry It's another thing to realistically need to know just how much to have, without going into fear mod and having an entire years worth of deodorant or toilet paper! LOL

Thank you so much for building me up. I am constantly telling friends and family to put up some food storage especially those with children. And I weep often when I get flippant responses of why they won’t prepare even a little. I have seen personally how important food storage is and I will continue to stack to the rafters and save. I would add into your preps if you are on a CPAP have a back up source for power. We had our power go out on us in the middle of the night last night and my husband was able to grab our solar battery we bought for the CPAP for just in case moments was able to go back to sleep.

It reminds me of those preppers who say, "I just can't wait for SHTF!" or "I just can't wait for TEOTWAWKI!" You can tell these people have never been in the military or if they have they served in peacetime. They've also never had a family member be deployed. They have no idea what they're asking for.

I agree. Watch the atmosphere but don’t panic. Prepare. I drive my family nuts sometimes but they know I need to do so because I believe it’s up to me to keep them going if we can’t get out.

I just found your awesome channel. I love two major things that you mentioned, and I think about a lot preparing and storing food that does not require any power source or electricity, and also not making noise or even possibly smoke to keep predators away.

Are we misreading his meaning? I think it's pretty well proven that the current administration got into power by very dishonest and criminal means. And they are destroying the country through their crooked incompetent ways. The country cannot survive another term under this unconstitutional rule. They do not have the support of the people and we cannot allow them to steal another election. If they win fairly then ok, but if they cheat and steal again, well. This term being stolen rather than elected is an overthrow of our government, in fact a coup. We can fix this crime through this next election and honest men and women can put the country back on track. But If the thieves try to steal the government again canno6 allow it and I agree with his prediction, it will bring about civil war. My fear is that this is exactly what the swamp wants.

And I have to worry about my girls who are visiting nurses and son and grandkids who are out there every day. School is not a problem since they can do it from home

We started pantry stocking via Costco shopping last night for staples and needs because of your encouragement. Hubby is on board with these thoughts. In past he got on board after a while and this time on board before civil war statement and even making suggestions of what we need.

I agree with everything you said but unfortunately I do believe there will very likely be unrest no matter who wins. IMHO We have a small home with very little storage space but have managed to put away enough to let us stay home for 2-3 weeks, should people forget how to behave.

Why don't you put in a big propane tank.....maybe 500 gallon

If you've ever been truly hungry for some time you actually prepare and stock your pantry for the future and enough to feed your family for an extended time frame. I'm that person that preserves for 4 households every year. I'm worried they will be hungry and no $$ or even no food in stores. I can't deal with the not knowing where your next meal will come from. So I 'plan ahead', way ahead. Do what you've got to do for your family and if you can help others as well.
